Community is defined by each of the stakeholders in the City of Philadelphia, all of them.
We are a community-based organization, so we strive to represent the real interests and justice needs of our neighbors, family, friends, and clients.
CJP conducts intensive community-outreach to learn and to listen from our client-community about the most pressing issues of concern, and help prioritize the areas of highest priority.
Justice
Justice is a healing process, an assertion of values, and a realignment of any imbalance, wrong, or harm suffered by our community.
Strong communities can exercise effectively a myriad of knowledge and resources and to take action and correct the injustices endured.
CJP employs human rights advocacy and restorative justice techniques in the space of both civil and criminal justice.
Partnerships
Community-building is the key element to forming partnerships among all stakeholders which include clients, NGO's, and government officials.
CJP employs all the tools of education, activism, advocacy, organizing, lawyering, development, engagement, and wellness to set goals and accomplish its core mission.
